On Tuesday night I was just playing Call of duty on my phone and I heard a weird noise coming from my addict right outside my bedroom. The noise was like an animal scratching the walls from the outside. So I got out of my bed and tried to find out what that noise was so i opened my door to go to the addict and I had my torch and I turn it and I saw like a box just falling as slow as a snail but the box was on another box falling so the lid was open so I looked inside the box and I saw nothing it was just an old lamp and just a bunch of junk stuff but I heard the same noise but from the other side of the addict so I moved the box’s in the way of getting to the noise and it was also in a box but this time it was a bird that got stuck in the gutter and flew through the hole going into the addict. The bird wasn't like your good old brown yellow and white bird no this birds colours were like a parrot colours red,blue,yellow and white. The bird was a small bird but with really bright colours.

BEFORE

During the holiday, I went to the beach with my friends. We saw there was a volleyball net. We asked a family if we could borrow their volleyball. We played volleyball for about an hour then had some lunch. Before we went home, we gave the volleyball back to the family. I had a lot of fun at the beach with my friends.

AFTER

During the school holiday, I went to the beach with my friends. We saw there was a volleyball net in the far distance that we could play with. We asked a family if we could borrow their volleyball because they had a volleyball but not a volleyball net. They said sure. The volleyball felt squishy and soft. We played volleyball for about an hour then had subway with fresh up juice and cookies for lunch. The subs were amazing and with the juice made it even better and the cookies had the right amount of sweetness. Before we went home, we gave the volleyball back to the family who kindly gave us the ball to play with. I had a lot of fun at the beach playing volleyball with my friends.

life's a stage brainstorm

so today we did a brainstorm on drama and dance the words that are in blue are the words that the class has wrote. some words that are blue I am going to name a few drama,acting,props,character and passion  just to name a few the reason we did this is because we just wrote some words that we know drama and acting. 

the most dangerous writing task

we had five minutes to write this task and if you looked away for a couple of seconds you would lose.

in this photo you can see that a mouse is a spy and he is trying to grab the cheese and carry the cheese back home to feed his family and there is a mouse trap right on the cheese so the mouse or any animal will not be able to grab the cheese and take it for them self and the mouse is a mouse spy or a spy mouse so i am just going to call him a spy mouse just because the suit he is wearing it looks like something a spy would and i like spy movies and the cheese must be the money an if he was a robber the cheese would be the money because bank robbers like that money for them self  because the mouse trap is in the living room  any one and i mean any one they can just  catch the mouse and take the mouse outside and put it outside.

all about an octopus

Welcome to my all about octopus task hope you enjoy. in this report i am going to tell you all about an octopus

Habitat:

The habitat that an octopus lives in is by coral reefs that provide food for the octopus or near the bottom of the ocean where some other sea animals live and can keep the octopus well fed and other sea animals will get food for the octopus and let it eat it.

Diet:

An octopus eats sea snail,shrimp,small fish,crayfish and crab these sea creatures provide tonnes of food for the octopus and helps it to live. in the food that the octopus feeds on the stuff inside it can make the octopus have way more energy to Rome around.

Behaviour/Movement:

camouflage is a behaviour of an octopus and spraying ink is another behaviour of an octopus also if an octopus changes colour that means that it’s scared of something around them and they think that it is a predator.

Special Feature:

A special feature about an octopus is that it has nine brains in it’s huge head also an octopus has eight tentacles and most sea animals don’t have eight legs.

super hard writing task

this was another five minute task and i passed it.

in this photo you can see a car in a pool and the car look's like a old car from maybe 1997 and the pool look's in good stament the car is in the pool and I do not know how the car even got in the backyard of the house the car is red and it is really not that good because the car is in the pool. car's are not meant for a pool because the water will make the stop working and you can never start that car ever again and the pool is good for people but not cars because the car can not get out of the water after it's in the water the water will make the car stop and a fact about water is that 70% of your body is filled with water and 70% of water in a car dose mix well.

recount writing

On Friday in November I went to Sendai in Japan to test the world’s fastest train called ALFA-X. The ALFA-X is shaped like a bullet and I got to touch what it felt like the front of the train felt like sandpaper on my hand. The ALFA-X is not like a normal train it is a super speed hyper train shaped like bullet . I felt worried before I hopped on the ALFA because I felt it was going to flip and fly off of the train track.






just as the train set into the train tracks it was already going 100 kph there were 15 test people on board with me so being the only person not part of the people that test the train it was claustrophobic for me so I just sat by myself in on the side of the train. The people that tested the train were in suits with ear fenders and black strong shades. The ALFA-X is just a test train and I am lucky enough during the train ride 5 out of the 15 people that were testing the train the 5 people went to the driver seat and went to see if everything that was ok and that nothing was going to break down. So one time I had to use the bathroom so I went to the bathroom.once I stepped in the bathroom this is what I saw a sink that looked brand and a toilet that speaks like what I am not joking that thing speaks. So I stepped back out of the bathroom after I did my duty I washed my hands and walked out once I stepped out the 15 people that were testing the train were just standing there doing nothing just looking a me then after that I went back to my seat and went on my iphone and played jetpack joyride once we stopped I wanted to go home by myself and had a huge nap and that was my trip on the world’s fastest train.

narrative writing

In Hawaii on sandy beach in oahu this man named kai took his pig kama on a surfboard because kama can surf and that is amazing kai took his pig on his surfboard and set off into the ocean kama stood on

the front of the board and looked out into the sea kai was surfing on his board and he was able to do so kai might of fell of a few times

but it was when they were a little far but kai went even further then
they were before once they both got far kama fell off and doggy paddled to the coastline but it was to far. So kai had to leap in the water and save kama. Kai had a strap attached to his leg so he could

not lose his surfboard. In the end kai saved kama but they still had to get on the board and drift to the coastline it might of took them a long time to get there but they drifted to the island kai and kama got

to eat and drink kama got to eat pig food and drink water from the thing that pigs drink from. Kai and his family had a party and party big time on the coastline of the ocean. Kai and kama got to go on kais

board surfboard again and go for one more surf and relax on the water and relax when they got to the island to relax on the sun bed.

Title:old broken down house

An old broken and rugged house with grass and moss on the roof,rugged coastline,a gray sky with thunder and lighting.

Loud rumbling thunder, waves crashing on the coastline,

Old dirty moss and grass,

Wind hitting you,

On an old rugged coastline there was a old broken down moss house.
One day I came upon a old dirty moss house on a windy coastline with waves crashing and bashing on the coastline the wind in the air was loud I could hear and feel it hitting my skin.The house had five broken windows it also had moss on it’s roof and rocks surrounding the house.The house looked like a old farm barn from maybe 2004 that’s maybe why the house it so rugged and broken down. The house was to rugged to into so no-one in my mind was going to get in that house. The waves were I would say about medium size for my liking.The grass was so there was poo in the grass. So after I went there and checked it out I went back to my car and went home.

Reflection term 1

Welcome to my top 3 things I have got better at,What do I need to work on, and what are my goals for next term. So the 3 things in my first Paragraph are the things I got better at this term the first Paragraph is about me getting better at writing when we need to write 4 to 5 Paragraphs i sometimes write more than we need to do in writing.

My first Paragraph is about me to succeed in writing because I sometimes write more than we need and it takes almost half of the first class period of school and it takes me forever to get it done and dusted and on my school blog sometimes when I need to get work done in a time limit I sometimes rush it but do it good and get a good grade at Pt England school.

This term I need to work on my DIMIC group for maths in my DIMIC group is Angelica but what we jelly, jayla, and connor we have done 19 lesson with miss west and my group is pretty smart for a four people group if you are wondering what DIMIC means and by the way DIMIC is short for maths we just call it DIMIC for short.

One of my goals for next term is to get better at writing. Writing is something I need to get better at we would have to write three Paragraphs I would sometimes write five Paragraphs and I sometimes write over the limit.

teamwork and working together

It’s important to be able to work in a team. Working well in a team includes being able to share ideas, listen to others, communicate positively and include everyone

It is important to work well in a team so that you can get to know the other people that are in your group so you can call people by their name so you know what to call them from now on if you have that group again also when you work as a team you can achieve your goals for your team to win and get the gold and as well different types of skills and abilities.
The first reason it’s good to work as a team is because you can achieve your goals as a team and reach the victory for your team.It is also good so you can do new goals and achieve them as well. If you work as a team your goals will be easy to reach and your team is a hard working group and will succeed in life and get a good year.
My second reason working together is good idea is that the more you know everyone in your group is the better you can become friends. You can call them by their name and if their name is Nick for any reason you know what their name is from whenever you met them. Also you don’t need to be unkind to them and call them mean names like unkind stuff it’s just not cool okay so just don’t call mean names it’s just not fun.
My final reason is different people have different skills and ideas. People will be helpful if they help you in your group. Your group will have good skills and your group will be a good team for you if everyone has different skills. In life and different people have different abilities and special meanings to them. Like family member’s and special things about their life.It can be good to have something you like, but not what everyone else thinks about you so it’s cool to have that something in your life.
In conclusion teamwork is important in life if you have someone you don’t like just help them and so you can achieve your goals in life and people have different skills and ideas in their life and this is the end.

the human table and human cross arm challenge

today after assembly we went to class and did the human table (that's the made up name for it we made it up) but even tho we did the human table it was way to hard to finish first for the boys Roman,Israel,Bryston and lucian went first for the boys in our class for Mrs Sio class it was Azmyth,Petero,Witari and Bronson yeah they may of won but we still tried our best to beat them naxt we did the human cross arm challenge and it was me and kris as you can see

highlights about camp

1. 

Kia ora and welcome to year 5 & 6 camp and this is the 29th camp at Pt England at this camp there are loads of fun activities and fun slip and slides this is super fun that’s because i was just at from Wednesday to Friday and let me tell you it was fun while it lasted

Well at camp there’s fun games like water slides,killer zone,cycle ball, concert practices, other cool and fun stuff now you might be thinking where do you sleep? Well that’s a good question all of the year 5 & 6 sleep in tents I know tents but they might blow away but they won’t there pegged to the ground so they can’t move and fly away and also we have some people that make breakfast lunch and dinner and there dinner is amazing you have to try it


One of my highlights from camp was the activities my favorite was slip & slide and getting super soapy and wet. Me and Lee faced one another on slip and slide. Lee just beat me by one second I almost had him by he slipped away and onto the grass and got super wet by Mr Somerville and Mia next Brandon and I raced and you will never know what I beat Brandon and I was happy to beat Brandon.

Now the best highlight of camp was the camp concert on thursday night. Batay went first with their amazing dance chant. Next was Mali mali katoa with their amazing dance. Next was Tamit Malosi give them a round of applause for their dance next was my team Tama FiaFia and our song was Mi Gente and my favorite part was the Wolf sound and it made it sound awesome and the crowd went crazy and bokers and so crazy.

I want to say thank you to the people that made camp happen and thank you to the people that made the yummy food and yum dessert to that was fantastic also thank you to the parent helpers as well and thank you to Mr Goodwin and the other teacher’s to I want to say thank you to all of  you that helped camp to happen

fixing the Mistake

BEFORE In December last year I went on a trip to Western Australia. It was the first time i had been there since I was two years old while I was there I had many adventures and saw a lot of wildlife i saw lizards and a range of birds and frogs and kangaroo and snakes and fish and quokka and stingray





one of the highlights of my trip was when i climbed 61 metres up a tree to a fire lookout there was an amazing view from the top i could see right over the treetops and into the distance treetop lookouts like this one were once used to keep an eye out for bushfires





it was 44 degrees celsius on the day i left Perth and there was a big bushfire which had started a couple of hours down the road as a result there were thunderstorms rumbling around the city in the plane we flew near a thunderstorm which was absolutely amazing





after sitting on the plane for six and a half hours the plane landed in Auckland we were told it was 21 degrees this was 23 degrees colder than in Perth i was cold
